With offices currently in Stockholm, Göteborg, Malmö, Copenhagen, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius, MAQS law firm continues to expand in the Nordic region. Dispute resolution is one of the areas in which MAQS has strengthened its position in recent years and Hans Bagner’s arrival looks set to take the firm’s litigation department to another level.

‘Hans will be an immense addition to our dispute resolution practice. He is a renowned Swedish lawyer with a global network, and with him we can develop and transform our international presence,’ says managing partner Torbjörn Lindmark.

In a wide and varied career, Hans Bagner has worked as party counsel and arbitrator in cases under the auspices of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), as well as several other international arbitral institutions. He also held the post for six years, as the Swedish member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris.

Hans Bagner was one of the founding partners of the Swedish law firm Vinge, where he worked for many years and amongst other senior positions he set up and ran their London office. More recently, Hans has been involved in the development of a niche litigation practice in Stockholm.
